What to Expect
Starting counselling can be a daunting prospect, so I want to help make the process as easy as possible. The first step would be to contact me to arrange an initial consultation. This can be done online via the 'bookings' page or you can contact me, using the info on the 'contact' page of my website. At the initial consultation we meet for a 50 minute session and discuss your needs and how we could move forward.
There is no obligation to continue, but if you decide you would like to, you can book in another session or a series of sessions either with me directly, or using the 'booking' page online.
Please feel free to get in touch if you would like more information.

A bit more about counselling
I believe that everyone has the unique ability to find their own answers and it is my job as a counsellor to help you get there. I also use the specialist IARTT Rewind Technique to work with trauma and reduce trauma related anxiety.
Everyone is individual and so there is no one size fits all approach. I therefore, incorporate several therapeutic methods into my work where appropriate. I have a mainly humanistic approach but I might also include some CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) exercises, to help reform negative thought patterns, or mindfulness, to help you feel a sense of calm and peacefulness.
Using this method, I have successfully worked with many clients going through personal struggles such as;
Loss & Bereavement
